The following projects give an artistical approach to the geometric applications of the Golden Proportion. Each pattern has its own unique qualities; each detail a result of an exploration into A Golden Relationship.

Project 1

Divide the sides of the one of the following shapes into lengths corresponding to palindromic sequences of Fibonacci numbers and connect the points in a manner of your choosing.

a. Pentagon

b. any member of the Rectangle family

c. any of the Special Triangles

d. Golden Rectangle

Project 2

Using one or more of the results of problem 1, create a two-dimensional composition.

Project 3

Using the concept of divergency constant in the arrangement of leaves around the stem of a plant, create a representational or abstract sculpture.

Project 4

Using the pentagon and pentagram variations, create a pattern in black or white, or a color arrangement of your choice.

Project 5

Using a maximum of four colors, Golden Rectangles and squares, create a pattern in two dimension.
